The Art of Service · Commonwealth governance PGPA Defence Delivery Agency Checker The Defence Delivery Agency instrument, clause by clause, with the date, the duty and the evidence.

Which duties apply to you, and when

Answer the questions below. The check reads the published record, selects the duties that match your organisation and role, and says whether the instrument applies on the date you choose. It keeps the five duties in the instrument separate from the two related duties that attach on establishment. It is a scope reading, not a legal opinion.

The questions

Nothing is sent anywhere. Leave an answer blank and the check will say what is missing.

Step 1 · the organisation and role

The instrument places duties on the DDA. It can also touch an official of another body whose services are assigned to the Director.

The accountable authority is the National Armaments Director. A governance, finance or official role supports that office.

Step 2 · the people and the work

This includes APS staff, ADF members, people from other Commonwealth bodies, and staff of Commonwealth companies, where their services are assigned to the Director.

Step 3 · the date

Before 1 July 2027 the DDA is not a listed entity under the Rule. On 1 July 2027 the whole instrument commences.

Questions

About the check

Is the check free?

Yes. It runs in the browser from the published record and asks for no email, account or payment.

Does it send my answers anywhere?

No. The page reads a local seed file and computes the result in the browser. There is no request with your answers.

What does "scope incomplete" mean?

It means an answer the record depends on is missing or unsure. The check names the missing answer rather than guessing a lighter or heavier pathway.

Why does the date matter?

Before 1 July 2027 the PGPA Rule does not contain clause 8. On and after that date the duties in the record apply. The check shows both the status and the work to do now.

Not legal advice; does not certify. The check reads the record dated 2026-10-20; the instrument is linked on every rule page.
